Advertising has been used by companies for centuries and presented in various formats. Over time, messages and mediums have changed but it's purpose has remained the same. The need to relay information about products and services to the mass public is defiantly here to stay.
The most notable form of advertising for me is jingles. According to Merriam Webster, a jingle can be defined as to rhyme or sound in a catchy repetitious manner. Take a moment and think about a memorable commercial you either saw on TV or heard on the radio. What may be memorable to you is the entire jingle, the product it represents, a portion of it or a combination of them. Jingles produces messages in fashion that can be easily understood and accepted by mass audiences. In honor of some classic commercial jingles that have paved the way, I provided a few of my favorites. What is your favorite jingle?
